Goodbye Joyriders in Calabria!

This Lambourghini Gallardo is the latest policecar patroling the Salerno-Reggio di Calabria highway. This car is capable of 192Mph!

I wonder if these cars were used in England, would joyriders still try and get involved in chases.

  1. Hi Mark,

unfortunately that car is not going to be useful.

That's because there are like 4 or 5 cars like that one in the whole poor Italy. So I think they cannot patrol the highway in an effective way.

Especially in the south Italy. I say that in the southern part there's like the "Far West". Anglo-Saxons system are famous for the "Rule of Law"...in the south Italy there's the "Rule of the most powerful"...

Anyway I would like to say that I like your blogs, it is nice to read about my region on a blog. I live in Calabria and I am not used to all this notoriety for my little region.

I am positively surprised of all these people coming here to buy a house or just to visit us.

    Bye Bye!

  2. So, so much nicer than the Brabus CLS V12 S Rocket that the Germans are planning to use!

  3. I have seen an image of the Brabus, it is not so bad, I'd like to drive a car like that. But you are definitely right the Lamborghini is nicer.

I must also say that your blog is interesting. Keep it up to date as you're doing.

    Bye,
    Marco
